Introducing 5B Digital Wellness Network
A grassroots organization focused on facilitating healthy connections for kids and families.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support Blaine County’s youth and families by fostering safe digital habits and promoting mental wellness. We empower our community with the tools to thrive offline and online, prioritizing healthy connection and balanced tech use.
Fostering safe digital habits
Our kids are growing up in an increasingly connected world where the internet plays a central role in their lives. Safe digital habits empower them to navigate online spaces responsibly, make informed choices, and protect their well-being. By instilling these habits early, and providing age-appropriate guard rails, we help them build a healthy relationship with technology, ensuring they can benefit from its advantages while minimizing its danger.
Promoting Healthy Connections
Independent play, free of digital devices, is vital for a child’s development as it fosters creativity, problem-solving, and emotional resilience. It offers a healthy balance to screen time, encouraging physical activity and real-world experiences, which are essential for mental and physical well-being.
